Cultural, Educational and Museum Complexes

STROYGAZMONTAZH is the general contractor of the National Cultural Heritage Foundation for Social and Cultural Projects for the construction of Cultural, Educational and Museum Complexes in Vladivostok, Sevastopol and Kaliningrad. The Foundation was founded by the Mariinsky Theater, the State Hermitage Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery and the Bolshoi Theater of Russia.

The task of shaping the new cultural centers was set by President Vladimir Putin in his Address to the Federal Assembly in 2018 and specified in the Decree “On National Objectives and Strategic Development Goals of the Russian Federation for the Period until 2024”. The creation of Cultural, Educational and Museum Complexes, stated as one of the priorities of the national project “Culture”, will allow to realize the cultural and educational potential of the regions and to set the modern cultural space throughout Russia.

In Vladivostok, two sites have been allocated for the buildings and structures of the Cultural, Educational and Museum Complex: on Aksakovskaya Street and on Russky Island; the building area is more than 173,000 square meters. A concert hall for 1,100 seats, a museum complex with an area of ​​20,000 square meters, a branch of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, a dormitory for students of the Higher School of Music and Theater Arts, a boarding school for students of the branch of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, an educational center with a canteen and a swimming pool, as well as residential buildings for employees will be built.

In Kaliningrad, construction will be carried out on Oktyabrsky Island — on the Western and Eastern sites. A branch of the Bolshoi Theater with a 1,250-seat conservatory, a museum complex, a building for the Higher School of Music and Theater Arts for 300 people will appear here. All this will be built on the Western site, while on the Eastern site there will be a general school for 550 people, boarding schools for students of the Choreographic Academy and a specialized secondary music school, and 5 buildings of service housing. The building area exceeds 111,000 square meters.

In Sevastopol, construction is also planned at two addresses. On the Kapitanskaya street bld. 1 there will be an opera and ballet theater with a hall for 1,100 seats, a Museum of defense of Sevastopol, a museum complex for the branches of the Tretyakov Gallery and the State Hermitage, a Higher School of Music and Theater Arts, residential premises for employees (two 12-floor houses). On the second site, Kapitanskaya street bld. 13, there will be built an educational building and a boarding school for students of the Choreographic Academy, as well as a dormitory for students of the Higher School. The total area of ​​buildings is more than 108,000 square meters.

All three centers should be completed by the end of 2023.
