STROYGAZMONTAZH took part in the exhibition of the International Gas Forum
The 9th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum is dedicated to pressing issues of the global gas industry. It has announced 15 thematic areas. The development of the Arctic, long-term cooperation between Russia and African countries, the future of natural gas motor fuel and as well as other important topics were discussed at the event.

As part of the forum STROYGAZMONTAZH presented a demonstration booth at the exhibition “Ingas stream 2019 — innovations in the gas industry”. This exhibition is a professional platform for demonstrating the latest equipment and technologies, used in the gas industry.

The main event of the forum is the plenary session “Strategic Priorities of the International Energy Partnership” with the participation of President of the International Gas Union Joe M. Kang and top managers of world famous energy companies (Mario Meren from Whintershall Dea GmbH, Ulf Heitmüller from VNG AG, Maarten Wetselaar from Royal Dutch Shell plc, Rainer Seele from OMV AG, Lin Xiao from PetroChina Company Limited) was opened with an introductory speech by Elena Burmistrova, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Board, General Director of Gazprom Export. She noted the priority of expanding economic ties, markets and trading tools for Gazprom.

Ms. Burmistrova said that Gazprom was consistently implementing its long-term strategy, which included investments in infrastructure, exploration and development of new fields, as well as in the development of the company’s research and development potential. Gazprom intends to meet global trends in the growth of energy intensity of production and the increasing demand for environmentally friendly fuels.

At the end of the event, the award ceremony of the international contest of young scientists “Oil and gas projects: a look into the future” took place. The first place in the contest was awarded to the project “Hydrofracturing technology based on liquefied petroleum gas for the development of oil and gas fields” led by the Russian specialist Vadim Tsygankov.
