Gas measuring station has been built on the Power of Siberia gas pipeline
SGM completed the main construction and installation work at the gas measuring station (GIS) on the Power of Siberia gas pipeline. The customer is Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk, the general contractor is STROYGAZMONTAZH and the contractor is Lengazspetsstroy.
The GIS on the Power of Siberia is designed for continuous automatic measurement of gas flow, determining its qualitative composition and pressure. It is planned that both Russian and Chinese specialists will work at the station.
The technological building, service and operational unit with the operator and communication center, gas cleaning unit, pumping station, connection center, compressor station, technical security equipment set, and external gas pipelines has been built. Electrochemical protection and geotechnical monitoring system has been completed. Work is underway on the improvement and recultivation of the territory.
“The gas measuring station is largely ready,” said Alexander Bogatyrev, head of the capital construction department of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline. “At the moment, we are handing over systems into commissioning.”
